Phra Kru Muang votive tablet from Wat Pa Mamuang (Kamphaeng Phet).
Wat Pa Mamuang is an ancient ruined temple located between Kampaeng Phet and Sukhothai, where numerous votive tablets of the Buddha Phra Kru Muang, attributed to a Venerable named Luang Phor Toh, have been discovered.
This is a modern handcrafted reproduction, not an antique votive tablet, but it has a nice patina.
The Buddha Phra Kru Muang is depicted sitting in a meditation posture, making the mudra of the price of the earth as a witness, with on the majority (but not all) of the tablets a "defect" at the level of the face. No one knows if this "defect" is originally intentional or if a relic was sometimes added to this place and it would have detached over time...
