Phra Somdej Phrok Po amulet from Wat Kositharam ( Temple of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Kuay ).
Amulets of the Boudda Phra Somdej Phrok Po Run Anusorn 108 Phi ( the historical Buddha under the Buddha tree ), recent re-edition (2020) of a series of famous amulets of the Most Venerable Luang Phor Kuay consecrated in 1970 to celebrate the 108 years since the founding of Wat Kositharam.
Fifty years after the release of the first edition of this amulet, Wat Kositharam has made a beautiful re-edition of these Phra Somdej Phrok Po amulets because these amulets are very sought after and the original edition is now impossible to find and totally overpriced for the disciples.
While making these amulets, Wat Kositharam gathered many magical ingredients and rare relics and also added precious colored Phratat relic stones to these amulets.
This amulet exists in several sizes and colors, I offer here the following two models:
1) Large green amulet of Phra Somdej Phrok Po with the Yant of Venerable LP Kuay on the back (and the year of the original edition in Thai numerals, i.e. 2513).
2) Brown Phra Somdej Phrok Po amulet with the historical Buddha on the back surrounded by his two main disciples Sariputra and Mogdalyana.
Many extraordinary stories of people going through serious accidents without being injured and also of these amulets producing various paranormal phenomena (amulet that moves, changes color, produces a perfume or even relic beads) have made these amulets very sought after as by the faithful and by collectors.
