Very rare and precious Buddhist rosaries
directed by the Most Venerable Luang Phor Uthama (1910 - 1998)
of Wat Wiwekharam (Wat Parungsee).

These precious Buddhist rosaries were made using the following method:
During his pilgrimages, the Most Venerable Luang Phor Uthama
collected the leaves from the Buddha trees
and earth from 108 Temples,
He then burned and powdered these leaves before mixing them
to earth also coming from the same temple in such a way
that each pearl of these rosaries contains the earth and the leaves
of the Buddha tree of one and the same temple.

Each pearl also contains a Takut amulet in its center.
handwritten with a Pali prayer.
This ancient ritual of making rosaries
being extremely long and complex,
Luang Phor Uthama was the very last Master to use it,
Nowadays, no one takes the time to make such objects.
