Description
This Phra Phong Mata Roon Somdej Phra Ruang Jao amulet depicts the Buddha in a meditative posture on a base decorated with floral motifs. It was consecrated in 2552 BE (2009) during the Kathin Kan ceremony at Wat Sangkharam , a renowned temple in the historic province of Sukhothai .
The Kathin ceremony is a major religious event where monks receive offerings and perform powerful blessings. This amulet has thus been charged with good energies and merits accumulated during this auspicious period.
The accompanying reliquary is finely crafted with gilded ornaments and colorful inlays, highlighting the purity and serenity of the Buddha image.
