Protective talisman Mantra Kunpaï engraved on a copper plate
and dedicated in the early 2000s at Wat Pu Tayan Ophassi.
*
The origin of the kunpai mantra dates back to World War II
when the Most Venerable Luang Phor Ophassi distributed this mantra to his disciples to protect them from bombs (first in handwritten version, then later printed, and finally his temple began to consecrate this protective mantra engraved on metal plates).

The powerful protection offered by this mantra is famous because during the Second World War, the simple fact that the disciples of LP Ophassi wore and recited this mantra meant that miraculously no more bombs fell on the temple or in its surroundings while bomber planes flew over the area every day!
*
The Kunpaï Mantra is pronounced:
“Itisukato Arahanbuddho Mamobuddhaya
Pathavikongkong Phra Bhummadeva Khamamihan»

One keeps this mantra on oneself in one's wallet as a protection not only against bombs, guns,
but also road accidents or attacks.
