Rare and precious Sarira relic pearls of the Buddha from Wat Phratat Luang (Laos).

These mineral relic pearls are collected by the monks of Wat Phratat Luang by sorting through the sand of the Mekong River collected in special places known only to certain Venerables.
According to ancient texts, after the cremation of Buddha Shakyamuni, his relics were shared equally among seven Kings, but as they were leaving, one of the urns was accidentally overturned into the Mekong River and these relics are therefore considered to be "the share of the King of the Nagas". Over the centuries, the relics of the Buddha have multiplied and the King of the Nagas would disperse some of them each year to share them with humans, the Venerables know where to go to find them and patiently sort large quantities of sand to sometimes find a pearl.
The majority of these pearls are orange in color, and sometimes, much more rarely, a white pearl is discovered.
The most beautiful ones (fine and translucent, see photo) are kept by the temples, and the more ordinary ones (tarnished, irregular) are distributed to the faithful against an offering.

We offer you these relics (orange pearls + a white pearl) in a new brass reliquary, with a blessed Sai Sin cord offered.
These relics can be worn as pendants, or placed in a Buddha statue (or a Naga statue) to charge it.
