Beautiful amulet of Guan Yu in silver-colored metal, consecrated by the Most Venerable LP Koon Parisutho on August 15, 2013 at Wat Banrai (Nakhon Ratchasima).
This series of Guan Yu amulets is called Roon Koon Ngern Koon Thong , it is both a protective amulet and a good fortune amulet.
Guan Yu關羽(177-219) was a Chinese general of legendary exploits, who was later deified and is considered the God of War (but who is also in Buddhism considered a protector of the Dharma under the name Sangharama ).
Guan Yu is the protector of all martial professions, whether it be the police, the army or even the triads! More surprisingly, Guan Yu is also the protector of Tofu merchants (in his real life, Guan Yu was himself a tofu seller) and his statue is quite often found in vegetarian restaurants.
Regarding this amulet, the Most Venerable Luang Phor Koon Parisutho said:
When one wears this amulet regularly while reciting one's khata with fervor,
then it will protect you and prevent from various dangers and bring peace and happiness. This amulet will also bring wealth to those who worship it,
but they must be careful to earn their living honestly and not deceive anyone otherwise the amulet will be ineffective.
It is nowadays almost 10 years after his death increasingly rare to find original amulets of the Very Venerable Luang Phor Koon Parisutho, especially in new condition and never worn as is the case here.
