Amulet of the golden Buddha of Bodh Gaya Phra Putha Métta dedicated in 2020 at Wat Nong Phue (Sri Saket).
This Thai amulet is quite unusual because it represents the statue of the Buddha of Bodh Gaya (India) which is placed in the temple of Mahabodhi (the place where Buddha Sakyamuni is said to have attained Enlightenment) which the Thais call Phra Putha Métta.
The level of detail of this small amulet is really very good, this amulet was made after the monks of Wat Nong Phue went on pilgrimage to Bodh Gaya, these amulets contain sacred substances brought back from this trip.
Very good amulet for anyone practicing the teachings of the Buddha and wanting a sacred object truly coming from the place of the historical Buddha's Awakening.
