These balls are a miniature version of the large blessed balls that are buried around temples in Thailand to protect them from evil forces.

These dark metal balls are decorated with various Buddhas (Phra Somdej, Phra Pidta) and contain a mobile Kling relic (if you shake these balls they ring like a bell).

To protect a house (or a building), it is simply appropriate
to bury these balls in the four corners of a house (before or after its construction).
