Powerful protective pentacle Talaew Kanphaï dedicated to Wat Klang Bang Phra
(Temple of the Most Venerable LP Puth).
*

Talaew Kanphai is a powerful ritual pentacle from the ancient tradition of Thailand.

This pentacle has the particularity of being used as a mark indicating a restricted territory, such as being used in front of the house of a person who dies in a violent accident or murder, to prevent his ghost from haunting the neighborhood.
*
It can also be hung on the door of a house to prevent ghosts, evil entities and black magic spells from harming the inhabitants.
*
A Talaew Kanphai with a sacred Sai Sin rope and sacred Ya Kah grass is also hung at the main gate of a city after a ceremony to improve the fate of the city and protect the inhabitants from misfortune.
A Talaew Kanphaï can also be hung at the edge of a field to protect the harvest.
*

At the center of the Talaew Kanphai is a piece of seed pod from the sacred Mae Sompoi tree (Acacia Concinna) which was used in Lanna tradition during rituals to eliminate bad luck.

In the ancient literature Jataka Brahmachakra , there is even a story that the sap of this tree makes one invulnerable.

The Mae Sompoi tree pod used in the center of these pentacles were prepared strictly according to the ancient ritual which specifies that they must be dried on a fire, then soaked in water mixed with turmeric, thus obtaining the powerful blessed water Nam Khamin Sompoi.
Mae Sompoi pods should be harvested on the full moon day of May, and only pods with seven segments should be selected.
Pods should not be harvested from trees growing in cemeteries, or from trees growing near a road intersection, or from trees growing along a river.

Excellent protective pentacle consecrated in ancient times in a famous temple.
