Rare Phra Sanghajai fortune Buddha amulet consecrated around 1950 by the Most Venerable Luang Phor Tae Khong Thong of Wat Sam Ngam (Nakhon Pathom).
This very unusual amulet of the makeshift Buddha in a very stylized (and even difficult to recognize) form is composed of powders of sacred herbs, earth from seven cemeteries and ashes from funeral pyres.
Very few pieces of this amulet were produced, as the Venerable simply used the leftovers from the making of Khuman Thong statuettes to make them, and in the case of this piece he additionally engraved the back of the amulet with a mystical Yant symbol and Pali letters. Although this amulet is about 70 years old, it does not appear to have been worn much.
Unique old piece, which will make a great acquisition for an advanced collector of rare Praï amulets.
